W2, Marylebone Lovely role with 2 young children

 We are looking for a warm, energetic, fun, engaging, caring, tidy, highly organized and self-motivated, very professional nanny. Someone who loves working with children and is passionate about supporting children’s learning and development.

 The role is part-time, permanent, live-out, based in Marylebone

 Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30-3.30pm (6-7 hours/day).

 Start date: asap, but also happy to wait for a month or two for the right candidate.

 Duties and responsibilities:

• Assisting with the care of two girls aged 31 months and 9 months;

• Creating a warm and stimulating environment for the girls with lots of love, excitement, care and lots of conversation;

• Organising creative educational activities at home such as games, drawing and crafting, reading;

• Taking children to activities and classes;

• Helping to prepare healthy and nutritious meals for the children and feeding them (a full time housekeeper will also assist with this);

• Changing diapers and potty-training, help with bathing the babies, keep the bathing areas tidy and clean;

• Scheduling naps;

• Teaching children good behaviour;

• Organising playdates and other social and fun activities for the children;

• Ensuring children's safety indoors and outdoors;

• Children’s housekeeping duties including keeping bedrooms and play areas tidy and organized; wash, iron and put away clothes; separate clothes that are too small (a full time housekeeper will also assist with this);

• Keep the children's feeding area, dishes, bottles and chairs clean;

• Tidying up play areas and keeping a good organisation of toys and books order;

• Assisting and working with parents to ensure their growth and social development.

 Toddler will start nursery in the afternoons Monday - Friday from September 2024.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years' experience working as a nanny;

• DBS, first aid training, at least 3 references;

• Experience caring for infants aged 3 months and above;

• Up-to-date knowledge of infant development and care practices;

• Fluent English and Spanish (very desirable as mother speaks Spanish);

• Must be educationally focused and engaging;

• Occasional travels with family to Europe and Asia;

 Minimum childcare level 3 qualification and maternity nurse qualified preferred

 Mother is on a maternity leave.

Start ASAP but happy to wait a month or two for right candidate.
