SW18, Wandsworth. Full time nanny required to look after an 18 month old little boy. 40-46 hours per week negotiable. Monday-Thursday 8.00am - 5.00 / 5.30pm and Friday 9.00am-3.00 / 4.00pm. The family are looking for a warm, nurturing nanny with lots of relevant experience.

Job Description: As our nanny, you will provide a safe, engaging, and loving environment for our son. We are looking for someone who is passionate about fostering development at this crucial age through play-based learning and age-appropriate activities.

Responsibilities:

Childcare: Provide full-time care for our 18-month-old son, including:

Diapering and dressing and potty training

Preparing healthy snacks and meals

Maintaining a clean and organized play area

Planning and executing age-appropriate activities that support his development

Ensuring his safety and well-being at all times

Reading to him and engaging in interactive play

Taking him on outings to parks, playgroups, or other child-friendly activities (weather permitting)

Developmental Focus:

Gross Motor Skills: Encourage active play, both indoors and outdoors, to develop gross motor skills such as walking, running, climbing, and jumping. This could include trips to the park, playing with balls, and engaging in movement games.

Fine Motor Skills: Provide activities that promote fine motor development, such as puzzles, building blocks, drawing, and simple arts and crafts.

Language Development: Engage in frequent conversations, sing songs, read books, and introduce new vocabulary to stimulate language acquisition.

Cognitive Development: Introduce age-appropriate toys and games that encourage problem-solving, exploration, and creativity.

Social-Emotional Development: Foster a nurturing and supportive environment.
