NW1, Marylebone 32 hours per week c. £21 gross per hour (ref# 5450)

NW1, Marylebone. A family relocating from USA are seeking a live out nanny for 32 hours per week (Monday to Thursday) . They have one child aged 3. Start March 3rd (initial induction period)
Duties include sourcing appropriate local activities inc playgrounds, museums, libraries, etc and building a network of social activities for her including playdates etc. The parents are keen that the nanny and child do go out and take advantage of the wide range of children’s activities that London offers. Must be able to create and maintain an activity schedule that encourages development. Must be able to prepare nutritious and appetising meals for her, keep the playroom and child’s bedroom clean and tidy and maintain her clothes and toys and it would be appreciated if the nanny was open to helping with light housework such as loading and emptying the dishwasher and processing the family laundry (optional but a huge plus).
For the first two weeks (March 3rd-14th) there will be an induction period working Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9am-12 midday.
From March 17th the hours will be based on Monday – Thursday 8.30-4.30pm. They are happy to guarantee 32 hours per week but would be keen that the nanny is open to a flexible schedule (ie occasionally starting late but working later to balance the hours). They would also like it if the nanny was happy to babysit once or twice per week. If the nanny was happy to travel with the family on an occasional basis it would be an advantage (USA and Europe).
Please note that the family will initially be in temporary accommodation in NW1 (for one month) and then will be in a permanent residence.

The successful candidate will be energetic, enthusiastic, experienced, cheerful and able to liaise with the parents whilst building a strong, loving and supportive relationship with the child, speaking excellent fluent English with good communication skills and knowledge of child development and milestones. Must be able to ensure her safety and security at all times.

Salary in the region of £21 gross per hour. (ref# 5450)
